		I'm very proud to announce that all the initial unit artwork is complete for Aksum, and the stats for the units are also more or less done (most of the retouching is complete, and all that's left are combat sprites, banner, etc.), and as balanced as I can make them, without actually testing them out. 
  
I'm also happy to announce that I have the tools necessary to write up a .DM file for this Nation-thanks to Humakty!. Still no way for me to package the units in an efficient zip-format, but I'll get it as close to playable as I can from here.

		I've started and made a little progress with the .DM file, but I can't promise that it's going to be done even as a rough draft, this weekend, since I seem to be coming down with a bug. 		Honey, I don't know if I'm just "trolling" again, but it's quite hard for others to give much advice on balancing or any other good feedback to you without a .dm mod file. Why don't you just release a preliminary version of your in-development mod nation, no matter how incomplete it may be, so that others may playtest and you'll be able to update the nation mod with suggestions from them?

		Ich, I certainly don't mind you posting in my threads, as long as you avoid random, nonsensical digs against what I'm doing.  
 
I intend to post .DM files once I have a computer that'll run the game. Until then, making these mods available for playtesting wouldn't be very productive anyway, because I won't be able to playtest them. If I can't do that, I can't react to any suggestions that are based on playtesting, so things would get lost, would be misunderstood, would be just a plain hassle--both for the person who is putting in the work and offering the advice, and for myself as well. It's just not worth it.
  
The good news is that I hope to have a computer by the end of the year, so maybe we'll all get a Christmas present, together. Can't guarantee it though. 
 
  
Sombre, you're probably right. I'm going to have to do a lot of sprite correction, and that's obviously one of the units I'll be looking at.
