Heres An Idea ......Tech Tree?

tesco samoa had made a tech tree, it can be found at his site. I have linked to it on my site also, look under reasearch, the link is near the bottom.

yeah, that's the one i saw...i could make a tech-tree viewer, to show the techs as in Civ, i already made such a program for Civ3.

But i would need the file with all the techs, since don't have SE4gold.

SE4G doesn't have any new techs besides Drones, which require nothing at all.

What would be great is a program that builds tech trees from the file

Speaking of which, anyone know if there's a program that totals up the tech costs? I'm using an AI builder program at the moment, and though it does have a tech cost feature, it's old, not well suited to the job, and I think it was never finished. it's a bit buggy.

Since this game is so moddable I think a program to generate a tech tree would almost be a necessity. Called to Power 2 is the same way. Everything is changeable through text files and scripting Languages, and it needs the same thing.
