Got it.

Another one: How do I get move a nation out of an era? For instance, I only play EA, and I want to remove the EA water nations out of the era, given that I don't like playing with water maps.

There are two ways.

1. Make a mod with commands like this:

#selectnation 21
#name "EA Atlantis"
#era 2

2. The other way is far easier. Select your opponents from the startup menu instead of using random.

Thanks!

I've been doing option #2, but I want to use the random nation generator so I get a surprise here and there.

Besides, option #1 isn't so hard at all!

Ah...This modding is too heavy! I am trying to mod a few units and I am already tired!

I hear you, bro. I've spent 60-plus hours on mine, and there's still a lot left to do (esp. changing the stats for the summoned units).

Not to mention that I am worrying about if my light infantry will be too light or overpowered. Is 10 strength with 11 att and 9 def ok for a light infantry?

Light Infantry is supposed to be cannon fodder; so I didn't touch its stats.

Does hero removal command work properly?

I am following the mod manual direction and entering monster number -1 commands, but the heroes still appear.

For instance, here's what I did to get rid of the pop-eating heroes for Hinnom. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong:

hero1 2068 -1

Again, I am having no problem placing heroes; it's the removal that's giving me problems.

Never tried that to remove a hero.

If I want to add a new hero and delete one I just remake the entire hero list filling all 8 slots, 6 regular and 2 multiheroes.

Is there a way to demote a monster from the Pretender List? I couldn't find anything on the mod manual about this, as well as--relatedly--changing Pretender availability for different nations.
