Yes realised that but only 2 brain cells so bit slow & already deleted when dawned on me was a definite problem. Will ask guy playing if he has & if not setup with him to try & recreate. Both using CD version

Support units
Battle type only used on engagement so far
As said will try to reproduce, am I correct in assuming I need someone to assist as if play self both on same computer & can cause problems.

Okay set up a game & played self hoping no problems, so did not send email just hotseated.

Used sides have had trouble with & saved game on deployment screen
Side 1 Russia password a > Mine arty bought as support is on map.
Side 2 South Africa password b > bought 3 dif type spotter planes & SEAD, again on map.
Note Russia did not have airstrikes available Game CD ver 4.0
Forgot to buy Russian air defence as just did quick but in games where has occured both sides have had AAA
Hope of some use if not say & will do with an opponent

Also probably aware but if expand core treats like first battle. In other words all core lose smoke again. God I miss it even with TI around, really surprising just how many tactics go out the window especially if you are the inferior force & adopting hit & run tactics.
You guys have obviosly collected a wealth of info over the years & was wondering if you could post links to sites you believe give trustworthy info. Mainly intreasted in formation compositions but the whole subject just seems to be sucking me in generaly, sure I had a life once.

Fast work guys does that mean there is a patch on the way to resolve PBEM Campaign issues? Thanks for going to effort to implement by the way adds a whole new side to the game as maintaining your core as a viable fighting force becomes important so need an exit strategy for just in case all goes tits up.
