Might i suggest you use Throne of Heroes. It is the Worthy Heroes 1.8 update for the Middle Era only. I would like to see it used in a game to get feedback.

Turin, the Worthy Heroes author edited and approved the Throne of Heroes update to WH 1.8.

It has some new Worthy Heroes, and uses onebattlespell feature on some. It also corrects some bugs in WH 1.8.

Burnsaber has several of his heroes added in Throne of Heroes, and I added a few myself.
All significant changes from WH 1.8 are included on the readme.

There are some significant upgrades to many of the human heroes. Oceania in the water got several Worthy Heroes, as they have no base game heroes. There are a few races that got no tweaks. regrettably, tien chi was one. Throne of Heroes fixed a bug with Jotunheim where the summoning of one of their heroes was not working.
