Re: I\'ve been a baaaad boy.
I like it. You're getting the word out without being too pushy or mean.
"Any flames in this message are solely in the mind of the reader."
As long as that remains true, you should do fine.
PS: You referred to SE4 as a two-man show.
Aaron Hall is one, who was the second you referred to?
Russell Saito for the music and old SFX?

Re: I\'ve been a baaaad boy.
Yeah, that's who I was thinking of. Isn't he with Malfador anymore?
And thanks for the feedback. Sometimes the folx on that board get under my skin and I'm not sure if I reply in an irritable fashion or not.
PS I see you had no problem figureing out who I am on that board.
Edit: Added PS

Re: I\'ve been a baaaad boy.
We got your back man .
Seriously though I don't want to star a flame war there guys, keep it above board if you post there.
I, however, had to dispel some of their misconceptions .

Re: I\'ve been a baaaad boy.
Kudos to you AtP. I hate it when someone makes an argument based mostly upon snobbery. Who was that one guy to think that he had the full measure of SE IV after having only played the demo?
Customization is one of the key factors of this game and until you have at least explored its possibilities one should at least have the courtesy to withhold judgement till such time as you can make an informed decision.
But I suppose that is what you get from those who value form over function. Damn sophists.

Re: I\'ve been a baaaad boy.
I am sure MOO3 will be a good game, but it could never be as moddable as SE:IV due to it's necessity for a rigid story line. Maybe they don't want that in a game, but that doesn't make it a bad game.
Besides Infogrames sucks as a publisher, I don't trust them one bit (even though QS is a fairly good group of guys from what I have seen).

I don't know if he's still doing work for MM, but from the credits, Aaron did almost everything solo, except the graphics & sounds (and beta testing).
