Question on Mega Evil

Actually, this seems to be the case already. I always find that the AIs have entered into partnership, or the highest treaty they are allowed to enter, with each other once I've gone Mega-Evil.

Last time I checked this (before SE IV Gold) it was different: all empires had declared war on me (I was MEE), but they still kept fighting each other. Was that changed?

I've seen both, all the minors allied or haveing treaties with each other except the MEE at least for awhile, and I've seen where they all go against the MEE and yet fight each other.

In regards to Q's idea, would it be possible to make this a random action. that way it would never be the same for each game, this would add a different flavor to each game,

Well,it doesn't seem to be universal. I have seen them get into wars with each other when fighting a Mega Evil, but they are much more unified after I cross the threshold than before.
