DT means dragon's teeth. IIRC, it's a tank obstacle designed to tear up the tank underbelly, which looks somewhat like teeth.

It's first to limit their movement (slow them down), so infantry or fixed AT weapons can be made to bear on the weak points of a near stationary target.
Second, possibly lose a few to broken tracks.
Certainly not made for tanks to roll over, but rather around.

Apparently not very efficient, and easily disposed of by engineers and infantry, since they're made of concrete (satchel charge)

since engineers would blow them up this would bring another question, why can't we drop arty in DT to reduce their numbers?same thing with mines,is this a 10 year old code limitation or too much trouble for small (if any) benefit?
