We have just started our 5th battle. Alle battles were a draw (sometimes with more points for Germany and visa versa).
Before the start of a new battle when you can repair, change equipment and expand core. We can't expand our core more than 200units. I know the game supports a max of 500units per side. So why are we limited to a max core of 200units? How can we change this in the campaign?
+ another question is it possible to change or give names to companies?
Thank you for this great game.

You don't. The maximum size for a core is 200 units. The remaining 300 is for support troops use.
Nor can you rename formations.
Cheers

Re: PBEM campaign end game points
I'm curious as to what do you mean by renaming formations? I've remamed Units with no problem, usualy HQ units, to what unit it Commands, eg: Able Coy HQ, Bravo Coy HQ and so forth. As for actual Formation name changes doable though the MOBHACK but for PBEM both sides must have the exact OOB's, plus it is time consumming plus it effect all games.
Personally I have a PBEM copy and what I call a MOD copy where I do all my fiddling around, even though you can switch things around. I deleted stuff several years back that took months to generated now I back anything up 3 different ways.
Hope this helps...Bob out

Hi Bob,
When you rename units, doesn't your PBEM opponent see the new name? In a battle against the AI it wouldn't matter, but against a human opponent I'd rather he not instantly know that a particular infantry section is 'Able Coy HQ'.
In fact, I've heard of players who rename many units to something generic to deliberately keep their opponent guessing.
Perhaps renaming Coy HQs is less needed with the latest update allowing us to see Coy formations at a button press (as long as you have the CD).
One thing I often rename are the Officers/NCOs themselves. I've edited the name txt files to use names of people I know, famous people, and actual WWII commanders. This makes the various officers more recognisable, and gives them 'personality'.
Then during a battle - if an officer/NCO earns it - I may edit their name by adding a DSO, MC or MM after their name.
You and your family have a great Christmas Bob.
cheers,
Simon

A Merry and Safe Xmas to you and yours Simon.
Yes I believe they do In PBEM I usually only remame my main HQ which is maked clearly as such anyway. Sometimes against the AI I've been more proactive changing things.
