EA Caelum – Ride the lightning

Can't Caelum PD go kill the ghouls while the Eagle King is still buffing? Or do they just shoot themselves as usual?

Since I started playing I was hoping that someone would write a good guide on EA Caelum. They're one of my favorites, but since I was just starting I could never figure out how to prevent their soldiers from just diving whole-heartedly onto the spears of their enemies. Maybe now I'll develop a feel for them.
