I had my Commander, his truck, two Armoued Car FO's and 4 SPAAA assets plus a crew, this was what was left and all moved off board. Plus the Off-board Support a 152mm Battery and two Sturmoviks, Lost my Tu-2's.
So it seems this still quite the random event, OK I'm used this several times now to good effect, (live to fight again another day)
I guess the thing which struck me is my enemy had wiped me out in a well executed pincer moment, I left a few forces behind to cover the retreat with arty and air support, just figured once my rag tag band skuttled of the board it would have been game over.
My last retreat in MBT got me a Draw, and since the objectives were out of the question, I pulled pin and got out of Dodge. Nice fighting retreat and a Draw.
