Re: New map coming soon!
Just got round to your map & had to say Damn your good
Another little masterpiece & you do a good job of not picking run of the mill terrain.
I can se this being another map that causes a few Oh Err moments like your last one as the LOS does not work out quite as I had expected it to.

Re: New map coming soon!
Decided to tease y'all a little bit, so here is a preview of the map I am corrently working on. Eisenstein Pass, borders between Czech Republic (or, for SLII campaign, Czechoslovakia) and Germany (Bayern). Definitely tank-unfriendly country - relatively lots of roads on both sides of the border (marked by *) but inaccessible terrain... Mmm, few mines would cause fun, as well as few ambush parties with RPGs or Panzerfausts

Re: New map coming soon!
Just got round to taking Sederot 2008 out for a spin, you created a monster
Think this is the hardest map I have played judging LOS both of us have had moments launching attacks only to find the long range support thought you had failed to get on target. Really do have to think ahead on what fire oportunities you think areas might offer. Infantry rule & try any sweeping move at your peril its probably covered, good stuff if hard work.

Re: New map coming soon!
Got a "mapping mood" - begun to create a follow-on to this map to the North (continuing off the right side of the precvious map). A nice valley surrounded by hills, lot of villages and hamlets. Scanning this one was tricky as it was right on the map fold.

Re: New map coming soon!
New map to be expected by next weekend
This was about most complicate part of the map, lotsa villages and hamlets. Next comes the main valley, main road and railroad, then Eastern ridgeline, mostly trees.

Re: New map coming soon!
Progress report:
Valley and large villages along the road and rail: CHECK
What remains? Eastern ridge, mostly forest, few hamlets. See for yourself. Estimated finish of the 2nd phase (roads, houses, forest): Thursday.

What area is this new map covering? Is it to the West of your earlier map?

Re: New map coming soon!
To the North, ie continuing off the right-hand edge of the previous map - route E53 goes roughly south-north so had to rotate the map 90°.
