Re: Tech/Component/Facility Viewer
Nice. Two suggestions: add a back button and close the old list when moving to a different area.
What's with some of the listings being in red and some in white?

Re: Tech/Component/Facility Viewer
This tool is just great ! Thanks !
Perhaps a good addition would be a setting/ini file allowing to name and store all mod data directories for quick switching, instead of having to change them by hand every time...

Red-white and blue. Just colors I chose to differentiate between a component, facility and tech area. <Edit: Although I see now some things are being listed in wrong color> Yup had the back button suggestion from a friend. Good idea to save directorys too.

On a Win95 machine (at the office), It wants to update system files. What files would these be?
Thanks.

A file list is at the bottom. Actually I think the program may run using the old systems files so here is a link to get just the executable.
http://www3.sympatico.ca/dgunsten/se4.zip
VB6STKIT.DLL
COMCAT.DLL
STDOLE2.TLB
ASYCFILT.DLL
OLEPRO32.DLL
OLEAUT32.DLL
MSVBVM60.DLL
MSCOMCTL.OCX

Re: Tech/Component/Facility Viewer
nice program..
a suggestion, instead of having a list like this:
Anti-Proton Beam I
Anti-Proton Beam II
Anti-Proton Beam III
Capital Ship Missile I
Capital Ship Missile II
Capital Ship Missile III
why not have it like this:
+ Anti-Proton Beam
+ Capital Ship Missile
with a submenu that lists all the different levels, make the list a while lot shorter
/edit: you could also add IntelProjects, and VehicleSizes, since they also got tech requirements, you could also link to them
