Re: Epic Battles(PBEM) - Game on!
Ah, you rolled back! Nice one. Anyway, the crash won't recur. It was caused by a bug in v3.23, but JK's let me have a patched version for the LlamaServer so it won't crash now.

No problem, thanks for admining. Anyway, I'm just glad that for once I'm not the last one to submit their turn. The game has really been moving quickly recently, which is great.
I also want to salute jmb for fighting for so long against multiple opponents. Well played.

Re: Epic Battles(PBEM) - Game on!
yes, jmb, nice job hanging on - sorry to pounce on you but I think we all know that war between the sweet, furry animals of Pan and the flaming evil blood drinking Abysians is on the horizon..,speaking of which, anyone else notice the heat rising in the world? Aby's dominion seems to be spiking frighteningly fast, along with gem income.

Re: Epic Battles(PBEM) - Game on!
Hah, nice attempt to turn people against their good neighbor Abysia but we're not the ones with the Chalice, Well of Misery and more tarts than I can keep track off. How many are you adding per turn: one, two, more?
Abysia calls on the civilized nations of the world to stand together against the menacing hordes of beasts and undead that Pangaea is assembling! Only united will we be able to fend them off.
We would also add that while our gem income has grown recently it's still less than Pan's and for most of the game has been far less.
You may not wish to take sides yet but Abysia asks the nations of the world to observe the war between us and Pan (which we agree is inevitable) and if you see us falter consider that if we fall you will certainly be the next victim...

Re: Epic Battles(PBEM) - Game on!
Yeah, that's an impressive Tart collection DC has been growing. Arcoscephalian Intelligence recently witnessed an (accidental?) run-in between Mictlan and some of them (along with pimped out Queens of Air) and it wasn't pretty. Also saw them in action in the former territories of Ermor.
However, Arcoscephale chooses to remain neutral in any Abysia-Pangaea conflict that should arise at this time.
Speaking of neutrality, what would be the reaction if I put up Arcane Nexus after Pythium's global is down? I read in other threads that some people consider AN to be an act of war. Considering that two nations (guess which) have significantly higher gem incomes than Arcos, is it really that big of a deal?

Only one way to find out...
Its true that most players would consider NAPs null and void once something like that goes up. As for Pan, we love our wise neighbors to the north especially if they share their bounty..

Pan asks the same, and asks that we appoint an international commission to monitor Abysia's carbon footprint aka the line spiking up in the Dominion graph. If you start seeing black candles popping up in your lands, it could be too late and then no amount of tarts (which btw, I am losing more than I am making of late) will be able to stop the misguided faith in a flaming head that looks like Al Bundy!

Having now seen the results of the past turn we can only say that our words have proven correct - after attacking Pythium Pan has now started an attack on Mictlan. Abysia will not stand by while another nation is victimized by Pan - we hereby end our NAP with Pan. We will launch our attacks on turn 67, with the battles taking place on turn 68.
As far as Arcane Nexus, we are shocked at Pan's blatant violation of the "everyone attack the person who casts AN" tradition of the Dominions community. Having said that, if Abysia gets a cut of the Nexus we wouldn't mind so much either.
A word about our dominion. We have a small border with Arco so they are not threatened by it. Mictlan has a strong dominion of their own and was in fact stronger than ours most of the game and can withstand our dominion. Our dominion is only intended to strike at one nation: Pan.
And lastly... Al Bundy! You will burn for this impertinence.

Re: Epic Battles(PBEM) - Game on!
hehe, Pan does not want a war with Mictlan - they attacked us the turn before last while we were peacefully laying siege to a Pythian fort. They slew several innocent tarts, it was brutal. We assumed that meant they were planning on attacking us further...
