Forge bonus for jade knife?
I wonder whether it is possible to give a forge bonus to the jade knife, but restricted to blood slaves? And have hammers only affect gems?
I think it would have some flavor, even though EA/LA Mictlan doesn't really need the boost.

Re: Forge bonus for jade knife?
Blood slaves still get a forge discount.

Re: Forge bonus for jade knife?
I think the blood forged contracts are the only ones that don't get discounts.

Re: Forge bonus for jade knife?
LDC is saying he wants to wield a Jade Knife and get a forge discount on blood slave item forging (which you currently also get with a hammer, on non-heart non-contract items).

Re: Forge bonus for jade knife?
Well, it was perfectly understandable here.
Unfortunately, that would make getting a Blood forge bonus much cheaper (and more accessible) than Hammers would be.
While thematic, I don't think it would be very advisable.

Re: Forge bonus for jade knife?
Jade Knives are one-handed. Dwarven Hammers are one-handed. Just how cheaply could someone with innate forge bonus forge something like Armor of Souls?

Re: Forge bonus for jade knife?
He was suggesting that hammers would only work with gem items, so you couldn't use both.

Re: Forge bonus for jade knife?
Oh, now I see. Nevermind my comment then.
Well I can see how that would work, but do you really need it?

Re: Forge bonus for jade knife?
It would be totally unneeded and overpowered.
But it would be fun.
