Default Re: Magellan: All-EA Nations CBM game, 3D spherical map, Running

News from the Deep
Watchers of the score graphs cannot fail to have noticed the astonishing speed with which Atlantis has been overrun by Oceania's blessrush. In a difficult research game, it's the obvious way to go if you can and in the hands of a skilled exponent such as skitttis, its a deadly strategy.

Atlantis is gone and R'lyeh (me) has been given his eviction notice. The security of distance - being located at the opposite pole - was an illusion and Oceania is already at the door finding me, I confess, unprepared.

So this is a heads-up, a warning to all you air-breathers that Magellan is likely to soon be a one-water-nation game with a heckuva lot of water. If you also have sacred units blessed to to the eyeballs, now is probably the time to challenge Oceania's land holdings. His focus is still in the sea but, when the sea is secured, it may be too late.
