By a quick (and therefore not entirely reliable) calculation, the province will make you maybe 9 satyr hoplites/turn with a castle in it (or 6 centaur cataphracts/minotaur warriors). Most of your castles won't make you more than 2-3.

If these would be an important addition to your strategy, then go for it. If not, then why worry about building a castle there? You can make your low-resource units in droves at any location.
