Default Why cant we make a TCP/IP game!?!?

My friend and I have tried everything we can think of and we still can't make a connection via tcp/ip. We are both behing Linksys DSL router switches. But they are set up as DMZ hosts. The game only gives my LAN address as a valid IP. It will not recognize my WAN IP address. Neither of us can play TCP/IP or PBW.(we have both registered the PBW client) **WAAAA** really though. I have read many articles about this on these forums but none really cover not being able to connect at all.

For the PBW issue, it may be the FireWall settings for your router.
As to tcp, I've never tried it (dial-up over here) so have no clue.

What do you mean you can't play PBW? You mean the PBW Real Time Client? Your router or firewall has to pass port 4489 for that to work.

If you aren't talking about the RTC though there should be no problems with PBW as long as you have access to the internet.
