I think the besieged Marverni AI has set up the other one. I am pretty sure when I attacked the province it had just the fire dome up, but I too noticed from this latest turn there are now two domes up. If needed I can backtrack turns and check what the situation was when I attacked the province the first time.

Nah, there's not much we can do if its the AI.

Considering your forerunners basically trashed my main army, I have to admit I think I can imagine what would have happenened if your main army had arrived

The city of Marverni has proven to be quite a death-trap for Pangaea. Tien Chi killed some 400 Pangaeans there, and earlier I have already lost on two failed assault attempts some 200 troops and 8 commanders...
