Age of Empires was released 1997, about the same time as: Warcraft 2 and Command & Conquer: Red Alert (1996), Total Annihilation (1997) and Starcraft (1998).

Besides Dawn of War, there're Company of Heroes, Dawn of War, Sins of a Solar Empire, World in Conflict... Some of these will probably be fondly remembered in 2019. Personally, I'll probably try to play these (for the first time) around that time, on my Windows 256, having lots of compatibility problems!
