just to let you know, if the game is delayed again, more than 6 hours, i'll probably miss my turn. I got a flight 10th of august and will be without net connection until 11 aug midnight. There's also a vacation plan under development, so I may be in need of a temporary sub for a week or two. It's still not for certain, I'll make sure to inform the host.

Firewalker if you will have to delay the game, PM me and we'll see if we can work out the delay together...

This is the end of the game for Sauromatia. We've held back Vanheim for over a dozen turns now, but our capital is now under siege and there are no more troops to break it. I blame myself for the defeat. I was not sufficiently focused on research in the early game. Nor did I shift my strategy towards Hydras fast enough for it to still make a difference. Live and learn. Good luck to all, though especially to the heirs of my gem fortune.

As it is, the turn will host Sunday night (US time). Jeff is gone until Monday, so the game will need to be delayed. Since you'll be gone Monday, we'll just delay the game until Tuesday night. Let me know if that won't be enough time.

As soon as you know you'll need a sub, please start a thread or recruit someone you know for the job if you can.
