I like simple solutions and since my capabilities in the area of map editing are practically non-existent I think we can either:
A. Rely on the kindness of someone who is competent at map editing to apply the fixes. Perhaps ano will be kind enough to take a look - I'll PM him later...

B. Just find another similar size map that doesn't have all these issues.
