Re: USMC Patton
Actually most USMC tanks are loaded for CS rather then anti-armor. We use them for close support not tank hunting. Helos, ATGMs, and aircraft are our primary anti-armor weapons.
So we rely more on CS then the Army.

Hence the reason I bought the CS version, not expecting a lot of armour anyway.
Perhaps things could be changed a bit as CS can only be bought in sections at the moment. So to get a platoon I bought a Tank Co deleted all but the leader & bought 2 CS sections. Mind you this sort of terrain I am not complaining about the extra C&C I now have

Re: USMC Patton
Just as a FYI.
In my USMC OOB variant a 5-tank platoon is 1 x mine plough/rollar, 2 x "normal" tanks, 2 x CS tanks, a 4-tank platoon is 1 x mine plough/rollar, 1 x "normal" tank, 2 x CS tanks.
Mine and CS tanks carry more HE/HEAT ammo and less AP/Sabot then "normal" ones.
So you'll get the standard "optimized for versitility" the USMC typically shoots for. Not really good at anything, but no significant weaknesses either (other then being armor light by most standards).

I was hoping to have more free time this summer and have it done by now. As it stands I'm hoping for an XMas release.
