Re: RUNNING: First Newbie game, let's discuss how we proceed here
If you HAVE already sent in a turn that you need to redo to duplicate the original, the easiest thing to do is just pull the old .2h file from your Sent Email folder and send the same file again. (Assuming your email client saves copies of sent email.)

Then Y, please just force host right away. Everyone has their turns in right? either from last turn like they were supposed to or a new one for thejeff who missed his turn.

Mine was just a re-send of the same turn, I didn't even open the client, I didn't know the server kept the turns

Re: RUNNING: First Newbie game, let's discuss how we proceed here
The POINT being tha that those that DID resbmit there turns must make the same moves for it to work.
I for one am not going to open up the file until we either try and force host it OR we decide its undoable.

Re: RUNNING: First Newbie game, let's discuss how we proceed here
There's no magic to do. Just tell the llamaserver to force hosting now.
It'll run with whatever turns it has.
I only know about this because we had a horrible fuss over a rehosting over in MistsOfTime, that led to a player quitting in protest and almost derailed the game.

Ys, did you try force hosting? If I have to send in a turn I can.

Re: RUNNING: First Newbie game, let's discuss how we proceed here
Assuming this gets worked out to everyone's satisfaction, the next order of business should probably be Christmas. I don't foresee at this point needing a large block of time, but would like a relaxed hosting schedule during the holidays. And I would not object to any request for more time over the next couple of weeks.
See? I CAN do this without declaring war on my neighbors!

I forced hosting. but for some reason it did not send anything...
I am reluctant to do it again, especially as its going to host in 2 hours anyway. Just sit tight and it will come through. (I hope)
