Blessing as LA Pangaea
Looking at LA Pangaea, I am not seeing potential for a high bless strategy. There are too many competing needs--scales for money, high dominion and Growth-3 to keep Carrion Woods open, magical diversity...
But you have these sweet, sweet sacreds, and there has to be -something- to do for them. What are the best level-4 blesses for LA Pangaea?

I think the first thing you need to do is choose something to focus on. Clearly you cannot do it all.

Re: Blessing as LA Pangaea
yeah, LA pan sort of chooses between CW and a bless strategy. the best lvl 4 bless is probably E4 for the dryads which are amazing units.

Re: Blessing as LA Pangaea
I find a D9 bless works pretty well with the dryads, and fits in with CW. Of course its still not free and there's certainly other very good stuff to spend your design points on...

Re: Blessing as LA Pangaea
Is that to take advantage of "Battle Fright" afflictions working with their awe?

Re: Blessing as LA Pangaea
Nah, it's because in general they take a long time to take down so the death weapons really add up. They don't really need any help on the staying alive front, but the death bless really helps on the damage outlay where they struggle.

Re: Blessing as LA Pangaea
I've only taken the standard Gorgon build with them, but since QM has beaten the Gorgon bloody and senseless with his nerfbat, that strat has become useless. I would have to look at them again without a Gorgon.
QM: Why do you hate the Gorgon so much?

The Gorgon is still awesome and terrifying, even at that price.

Re: Blessing as LA Pangaea
He's just bitter because he can't get his awake SC with a major blessing and have scales left to speak of anymore. Which is really as it should be.

Re: Blessing as LA Pangaea
Yeah, you can still do an Awake Gorgon build. Scales suck, but it can be done.
It always amuses me. that when QM nerfbats the Gorgon, that I can still build a kickass gorgon.
