I agree with what he said. The hard ressearch is the killer here. The key to this guide working is getting out by turn 3, 4, or 5 and getting multiple parties out when you do. I have not played this in MP, only in duels and it works well there. In MP, I'm not sure how well it would work.

The other item is that you have to make sure you have plenty of money. You have to make sure you have order. You also need to make sure you have mass when the game moves on. I've lost with this strategy because I didn't have the troops for the big battles.
