yeah.. I don't think luck affect void summons. it might affect La-R void spawns.

I always find the immovable spawns that consume food to be pain in the ###.

As part of the Balance mod, someday, I'm going to mod all LA-R monsters to be amphibious and movable to lessen a little bit the la-r micro managament hell. I may or may not subtract a hp or two to balance it out.
