From Merriam-Webster
Quote:
1 : a magic spell
2 : an exciting and often illusory and romantic attractiveness ; especially : alluring or fascinating attraction —often used attributively

Obviously the first usage, but with connotations of the second. Used in folklore and especially fantasy in reference to Faerie and particularly to the illusions the Fair Folk use to make themselves appear inhumanly attractive.
Dominions usage isn't so much the beauty aspect, but certainly the illusion and it's tied directly to Faerie through the Sidhe and their relatives in Vanheim. I don't know, offhand, if the Ljósálfar (Norse light elves, ie. Van.) are associated with glamour as well or if that comes in later.
