i mean, what IS this? the technology looks really cool, and im glad they're researching it and all, and im sure it will make our inteligence operatives more effective..

but "story telling" and "truth maintainance" sound a little suspicious.

i remember reading about the real-time two way translaters being developed. it appears that we already have real-time one-way audio translators. captain kirk, eat your heart out.
