Default What are those little boxes that appear in Mobhack

If I do a lot of copying and pasting between orbats, little boxes appear beside the unit slots in Formations, and Formations only. Why do they appear? Or is it just me. If I close and reopen they go away. They have been arriving there since the SPWW2 and SPMBT in the Dos versions.

Baie Dankie

It's probably a bug - but never anything I could actually track down (e.g. a memory leak).

I find that nothing happens (in terms of either data errors or the programme blowing up) if you ignore them (I tested that out many years back), but usually I close a Mobhack session when they show and restart. Just to be sure.

Of course, if anyone out there has a guaranteed "do this, that and then the other" recipe to get them to appear with 100% reliability, then I am all ears. It's probably related to Delphi's string handling as a WAG.
