FirstBlood - Abysia (Turn 42-47 added)
Hey guys, I started working on this AAR last year when I was playing Abysia in the FirstBlood newbie game run by Valerius.
Originally I was writing it in a how to play format, trying to cover every single action, but pretty soon that had me wanting to beat my head against a wall...
Anyway, I recently had an idea to rewrite what I had done from more of a first pretender POV and to keep going from there, so here is the first three years:
Turn 0-11
Turn 12-17
Turn 18-23
Turn 24-29
Turn 30-35
Turn 36-41
Turn 42-47

I love it, Nightfall. Keep it coming! I particularly look forward to hearing more about this virtuous and bountiful bull in the south.

Nice job! I have to agree that is a tough starting position, bordered by only two land provinces and difficult to reinforce your expansion parties if they suffer losses. Looking forward to the next episode to see if you can overcome that.

Exciting story so far!
I wish you could've included some screenshots of the battles as well. The battle write-ups make me ache to see your demonbreds in action!
Also interesting to see how closely allied you were with Sephorin since he was helping me (Mictlan) too to his south.

For most of the first three years the demonbreds were used pretty simply in battle, they were scripted:
(Bless) (Pheonix Power) (Prison of Fire) x 3 then either Cast or Retreat

I've enjoyed reading your AAR. Thanks for posting this.
One minor editing note, I think you have a copy and paste error in the later write-ups. Your graphs (awesome that you included those BTW) continue to say "End of 2nd year" or "Middle of 2nd year" well into the 3rd and 4th years. So, a minor editing nitpick for what is a pretty cool AAR.
Kudos.

Yeah, I've already fixed a lot of small errors like those in my copies, my plan is to reupload the versions with corrections after I've finished the AAR. Please feel free to let me know about any errors you notice though.
Sorry to those following the AAR for the delay over the last few weeks, but I've been pretty sick and haven't felt like doing much but resting, back on the case now though.
