Idea - SE IV Fantasy ConVersion

An interesting idea. Along a somewhat more-related train of thought, I had the idea to try to re-create 20th century naval warfare with SE4. It would range from perhaps 1905 (Tsushima) through WW I (the peak of the Dreadnought and her sisters and the first introduction of the carrier) through WW II (the twilight of gun naval power and the rise of carrier power) through the end of the 20th century (missiles, jets, and nuclear subs). "Systems" and their "Planets" would represent regions/ports - "warp points" would be the routes between them: Gibraltar would be a "planet" in the "system" of West Mediterranean. It would lead to the "system" of Mid Mediterranean with its planet, "Malta."

I haven't started it, and maybe never will, but still think that it has potential.
