Re: The Cleansing Part II
Interesting way of bringing the galaxy from Trek terms into SEIV. Reasonably plausible.
One question though. The title? Did I miss the Cleasing part I?

yes. all the trek races had their collective asses handed to them by an invading race from outside the galaxy.

Right, I gathered that from reading this. But was the story of the coming of the cleansers, and the formation of the alliance to fight them related anywhere? If so I missed it. I seem to recall a short blurb on his website about it, but it seemed more background info than narrative. But I haven't checked it in a while, maybe he updated it.

Re: The Cleansing Part II
Thanks Puke. Well, is it a good story, or bad one?

Re: The Cleansing Part II
well, it was worth remembering the old thread. as others have brought up, i especially like how se4 game mechanics are being translated into the trek universe. the reference to ST:NG warp lane degredation and ST:V omega directive stuff is a stroke of genius, and really brings the story home. it also sets up solid reasons to have all of the different feddie shipsets in the same game.
the writing good, though you probably need an editor to run through spelling and grammar, but all in all its good. i think the characters acurately represent the personalities i am familiar with from TV and movies. good stuff.
