Unfortunately the turn interval mechanics were a little bit abstract first and it appeared later on that once set longer, one cant reduce the current turn's interval. This caused two turns after holiday season to have unacceptable long intervals.

...if llama granted you admins, and your happy with it, hold on it. You seemingly have much more time in your hands and thats better for the game.

I think you can put a negative value in to take time off the hosting interval? For example, put in "-4" to bring it forward 4 hours. But I can't remember if I have actually tried this, sorry :-(
