Dang. I'm sorry guys. I really screwed up. I had 2 service packs and enabled the wrong one when I created my pretender. My game is messed up (units are missing skills and I can't recruit any new units. Sorry folks!

Pretty sure that matty is talking about the pretender AFTER the restart in this post; so you need to restart again...
