Maybe a prompt msg when starting a turn in pbem, to make sure you have fast artillery set *off* before ending your turn.

Maybe I'm wrong, but all I remember is that once a PBeM is set up with a certain changes on the preferences screen, that PBeM battle will stay consistent to that set up regardless of whether you change the settings later on against the AI or even another PBeM battle.
