Morale Modifiers
I noticed that the Spetznaz in 2010 have a morale and experience mod of 20. The SAS unit has 18 for both and SEALs have 15. Seems like a there should be some parity there? Especially since the Spetznaz is quite a large unit and not specifically on the same level as say the SAS or SEALs. Thoughts?

Re: Morale Modifiers
Remember thats a +20 from the base for the nation.
50 + 20 is still less than 80 + 18, for example.

Re: Morale Modifiers
As scorpio_rocks said you can't look at just the plus/minus when it comes to morale and experience you have to look at the base experience/morale for the nation in that date range.
While I haven't actually looked I'd bet the Soviet experience/morale in 1946 is better then in say 1966.

Re: Morale Modifiers
That's why I love this game (and WinSPWW2), because the data base covers so many years. Well, that and the random battle generator and the map editor.

That's what the game reckons.
USA & the Brits have better base levels than Russia throughout the whole game I think. Varies a bit by time period.

Re: Morale Modifiers
I think the USA and Russians are fairly even in the 1960's and 70's ... Vietnam and drugs didn't do the US any favors.

A really good point! Often it's the soft factors that make a strong difference!

Re: Morale Modifiers
I know USA and USMC morale/experience in the game take a hit in the 60's and 70's and recover in the 80's. Too lazy to look and see how much but I think like 10 each.
