I know how to turn off the flashing pixels in SHPED, but what if I want to make a terrain flash? Leaving the SP-No Flash box unchecked doesn't do the trick. I'm trying to edit the stream tiles.
The steam tiles use a specific set of colours that cycle through one after the other to give the illusion of flowing water so unless you are using the same colours as the existing water tiles you won't get that effect
Ah, got it. I was making them look like muddy, sluggish creeks. They look fine and work well for my purposes, they just don't 'flash.' Still easy to differentiate from dirt roads, as the existing shadows on the banks give a very nice effect. Thanks!
