odd sound effect

I have battle FX turned off- it only happens when the enemy side is firing: from infantry-- Thanks

I just noticed the sound effect also happens when I use only an infantry squad to fire- I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds it curious

Are you playing with the default OOBs?

I don't know what you mean by default- I downloaded the game, patched it the way its supposed to be, and just choose the units for a battle from whats available
