Default Playing Approaching Infinity on netbook

Have any of you tried to play AI on netbook? I've got netbook with screen resolution 1366x768 px. According to system requirements on AI page 768px should be enough, but font is bearly readably. Is there any workaround to improve font visibility?

There is an alternative font available with patch 1.1, which might help if you haven't already tried it.

I'm fairly sure the workaround does not require 1.1:
Shift+control+F should cycle your fonts
(it was a late addition and not mentioned)
Hope that helps!

It helped a lot. Solution with CTRL-SHIFT-F works with both versions 1.0 and 1.1. It does not work with demo though.

Thank you.
