85% scenario here; map is converted, OOB is rebuilt in SPWW2; I tried to keep it very close, as this is a Wild Bill scenario, units are pretty much in the right places.
I did make some changes though.
I reduced the number of Pershings on the US side; as in April/May 1945, they were trickling into front line duty, and wouldn't yet be seen in mass quantities.
I switched over most of the Soviet infantry from truck borne infantry to foot infantry/desantiki; though there's a small amount of elites.
I gave the soviets some on map artillery to try and match the US artillery on map; and mixed up the airstrike airplane variety to keep it a bit interesting.

But What If
The Elbe River, Germany
25th of April 1945
Soviet & US troops met near the Elbe River and the US troops were anticipating a great celebration.
But what if, instead of a warm greeting, the US soldiers received gunfire & a ferocious attack?
What if the Soviet Union had decided that it was time for Communism to rule the world?
This battle is hypothetical & takes a hard look at the ominous "WHAT IF" possibility.
