The opening para from Post #3 was taken directly from the Boeing website, which I forgot to post. I can see this starting to get a little crazy so let's just apply a little "KISS" to the problem.
1. Keep away from MPH and KPH!! The universal measurement that needs to used is simply
KNOTS. This is the international term for "speed of advance" for
all types of ships and aircraft.
2. The best and only reliable source besides a JANE's for speed will have to come from the manufacturers website followed by the military's website for that piece of equipment. Take the average if there is a difference. This is the ONLY option available to you if your want to disregard other websites.
3. Remember the context in which your looking at the data for speed i.e. with or without payload etc.

You have to keep it "apples to apples" and anyone else needs to be accessed in the same consistent manner. I'm not saying you don't have a case here but, the concern is does it go beyond the APACHE helo? So this is a question of "
are you all in or not" to investigate this fully.
I'll straight up say I'm not-sorry.
Got a routine EST in the morning so I can be cleared to save the dummy and fight the "red-man" later this month. Nothing like a two mile run on an empty tank, hooked up to monitors start your day!?!
I of course due to her intel background suspect a diabolical plot perpetrated on me by my MARINE friend out here.
So good night as I must maintain a vigilant state of mind!?!
Regards,
Pat
