Anyone have a timeline on the next patch?

Only reason I ask, is I'm about to heavily modify all my text files, and if they're about to release a patch, I'll wait...

Any info?

rumor had it, tcp/ip patch in early 2001 (somehow i got the impression of jan or feb)

but if a rumor actually gets as far as to me, odds are its bunk.
