I smelled a tease there!
To be honest, and using "
ground pounder" terminology, just maintaining "
good fire discipline" because quite frankly I just didn't know
how long the attack would last.
Of course as just posted, my sending the
Ammo trucks on to
FBD was more important to me once they showed up then supporting my "
fresh" reinforcements.
SPOILER PENDING NEXT POSTS IS: They would make it.
Those Platoons I airlifted in also of course helped my cause in holding
FBD. And
NONE of NVA or VC units ever
breached the walls of
FBD at any time during the 60 turns it took to finish the battle. I feel pretty good about that.
I'm used to having regular ammo supply units whenever I play my Generated Campaigns, that being said, I do know how to
conserve it (Ammo) as well.
And of course keeping my guys
rallied every single turn beyond what I've posted to date.
