Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, Kongsberg, Norway, is awarded a not-to-exceed $329,000,000 firm-fixed-price, undefinitized contract action for the procurement of 175 medium caliber cannon Protector Remote Turret 20, hereafter referred to as Turrets, for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle Medium Caliber Cannon (ACV-30) vehicles for Full Rate Production Lots 5 and 6. The Turrets procurement includes program management support; tooling development; associated turret hardware, interfaces and software; logistics management information data development; training materials development; technical manual development; and field service representative and training support for integration and fielding. The funding obligated at time of award will procure material and associated services only. The contract action will be definitized on or about Feb. 18, 2025. Work will be performed in Johnstown, Pennsylvania (100%), with an expected completion date of June 4, 2028.

Some of you have more experience reading US government contracts. IDK where Production Lots 5 and 6 fit into the overall schedule and when I should guess these MIGHT actually get into the USMC TO&E
