I'm going to hold on releasing it for now and even selling it. I've listened to the music I made for it...
It really sucks after a while. Sounds cool at first, then it really starts to suck afer 4 or 5 listenings.

Hey, it's gotta be better than the original SEIV score! I listened to it for the first 2 or 3 days of playing the game (read first 24-48 hrs of game play) and got sick of it. Turned it off and never intend to turn it on again.
I'd imaging most of us will only listen to the UM2 sound track for a while... heck, it could be Eric Clapton doing the soundtrack, but after 24 hrs straight even he would get stale...
just my .02$Cdn. Don't be too hard on yourself bud.

Re: No UM2?
Ok, so what we know about project dauntless:
First of its kind
All done in CGI
Fans will have input
Ok, I have decided to draw conclusions from these statements:
It is a tap dancing monkey, done entirely in CGI, and the fans will vote on what dance it does every week...
I think I've figured it out....

Re: No UM2?
Sadly not an American Idol. Tjeez, as if we haven't got enough of those.
Say, what are your plans with UM2? Are you going to sell it? If so, what is the price going to be? Are you going to offer it for download? If yes, where?
I just want to know more, coz I'm very anxious to play the UM2. Please tell us more, if there is more that is.

Re: No UM2?
The only thing I am ready to pay for is PBW.
Will I be stoned if I suggest it could be the same for a score of SE4 fans ?

Re: No UM2?
This is probably a cheezy suggestion, but what the hell.
Since you say it would cost too much to have a designated server set up to hand it out, why don't you distribute it to a few of us who have larger bandwidth capabilities (cable or DSL) and we can put it up on Kazaa?
I don't mind leaving my puter on for a few days out of the week so some can pull it down from there. We could even post times when it we will be on and people can pull it down then.
I realize this isn't a perfect solution, but it beats not distributing it at all.

Re: No UM2?
Rocks! Nice hard rocks! Purchase your rocks here! We've got everything, from pebbles to gigantic boulders!
Or as the cool bartender from Dusk Till dawn puts it:
We've got black rock, white rock, yellow rock, heavy rock, light rock, cheap rock, expensive rock and pebbles. If you find cheaper rock... throw it!

Re: No UM2?
I was willing to pay, I'm always willing to help one-man shows. SE.org was quality and more people should have helped out.
