Sorry, but these Vorlons aren't push-overs. They have serious greivances against the Tien.
Trinary star systems are already in the game. FQM adds systems with 4 or 5 stars though. FQM (linked in my sig) will work with almost any mod. Check the readme.

I have combined TDM mod pack, Fyron's Quadrant Mod (generates some excellent systems) and my own Mount mod...into a single mod that I use.

Hypermaze. And HypermazeLite does even less. (The "lite" Version doesn't use any custom graphics; the difference is mentioned in the Gold CD Extras readme.txt, but not in Appendix B in the print manual.)

There is also Derek's mod, which (I believe) is a sort of proportions/ devnull hybrid with some extra stuff thrown in for good measure.
I really ought to get round to playing it, since those are my favourite 2 mods...

I have written a utility that will convert the TDM AIs so that they will work with P&N.
It will also work for any AIs that were designed for the unmodded game.
You can get my AI Patcher from the P&N downloads page.

Ahh ... but could you, with permission, get the space monsters into P&N. That would be so cool.
Normal races constantly harried by space monsters while the pirates come and go as they pleased.
Why are the nomads even there? Because they lost their planet to the monsters.
My plan was to allow the pirates to capture a space monster. That's not really possible with the way they work. But I was gonna change that too.
Captain Zog:"There's too many of them Admiral, we can't capture them fast enough. They've banded together, and with their advanced sensor technology, they can see our hidouts in the nebula. What will we do. Admiral? Admiral, sir?"
Admiral Bligh (feeds parrot nonchalantly): "We have prepared for this eventuality. Space will be ours again as it was before"
Captain Zog:"But how can we ..."
Admiral Bligh (roars): "Ships mate Slieggh, send a message to the nuturing base in Sector ZZplus Z Alpha. Release the Krakken "
Insert godzilla roar here.
