Has all sorts of games, or links to places you can buy them. Unfortunately they've had to add pop-up ads recently.

Of course, getting rid of pop-ups is really easy with the right software. Of course some people don't mind popups so much when they are being used to support a website with some content that they wish to have access to. But when others direct them to sights with popups under false pretenses they are pretty annoying. Of course, when said someone didn't know that the site in question had any pop-ups, this person can't really be held accountable for it.

Ah that brings back memories. The game I waited for for years!! That I used to ask about in the software store every month. And finally when released the game that sucked beyond belief!!! What were they thinking with that GUI

Re: OT: Dead Software where?
The GuI is primitive but the game plays just like the board game - so you can use it to test strategies.
I hate it when software companies try to "improve" a game a.k.a. star fleet battles/star fleet command or squad leader and don't get it right.

Yea I know what you mean. Sounds like we played some of the same old board games. I was pretty psyched when Squad leader and Starfleet command came out but you're right they did not get it quite right. I keep meaning to get back into Third Reich and maybe just get used to the GUI
< Edit > Just visited the Avalon Hill website. what a sad state from the great company they once were.
