Re: possible bug: refitting multiple ships in multiplayer
I noticed this problem in one game I was playing. However I noticed it in a simultaneous game. Were these problems in a simultaneous game. This really should be noted in all bug reports since I think the two styles work a little differently.

Re: possible bug: refitting multiple ships in multiplayer
Thanks for the feedback.
This is a simultaneous game.
The refit in question does not cost more than 50% since I am just upgrading direct firect weapons to the new level I achieved.
I can recreate this bug every frigging turn. I am losing turns that my ships could do something else.
I will send it in to Aaron

Re: possible bug: refitting multiple ships in multiplayer
One suggestion that I thought about but have not tried.
Try to upgrade each ship individually. Open the retrofit window and retorfit one. Then close it down and reopen to refit the next one. This might be a work around to make it work. Its possible that the problem is that the program only sees only one refit each time the screen is opened. Since the rules work differently from turn-based
Worth a try, even though it is more work, I think.

Re: possible bug: refitting multiple ships in multiplayer
I think I _may_ have cracked this one. Granted, it is just a solo simturn game (practacing up for PBW), but it should function the same, right?
Ok. The problem I was having was that ships in a fleet weren't getting the retrofit orders correctly. Instead of all the ship in the fleet I earmark for retrofit, only the _first_ earmarked ship in the fleet got retroed. So I tried taking all but one ship out of the fleet and then retroing. So far, it seems to be working without a hitch.

Yes, that's the way I do it, too.

I've also found that if you try to retrofit any ship other than the first one in the fleet, the program will attempt to refit the first ship _instead_. I got several Messages that the refit failed because it was the same design before I figured this out.
Wouldn't it be a lot less work to just take the ship(s) to be retrofitted out of the fleet? That's how I always do it.

I think that is what dumbluck meant.
