Well I'm happy to go south if I could find even one province w/ some frickin' aquatic troops I could recruit. Also, being Pangaea, I don't have much access to water gems.

Anyone want to trade me some forged items lettings my troops enter the sea? I have gold and gems in return. Oh, and that hippy we found in the forest on turn two of the game.... he's also for trade.... haven't been able to kill, eat, or give him away yet....

You DO know that the provinces that have little anchor symbols on them let you move across water to the other provinces with anchors on them right?

Yes use the habours - actually going into the water will just immediately start a war with me

To see the links, press 8 and click around the provinces, shows the links between provinces and the habour links.

Give me over double the cost in gems to make a hammer, 40 Earth Gems, and I'll send you one the next turn on any turn you send me gems.

My current hypothesis is that Marakata's had been huffing paint, then decided to throw rocks into an Octopus

I was trying to infuse some light humor into the preceedings, and take the piss out of your Thing That Should Not Be. guess our simmian brains have more capacity for humor than you simple calimari.

@ Domenje:

I would sell a hammer for water gems, if that is a more available resource to you...

Thought I'd better stick up a post, apologies for staling one turn a while back - I think I thought I'd already done the turn - I was surprised to discover I hadn't! I'm also on GMT so tend to do my turn in the evenings after work, so that's why it sometimes looks like I'm cutting it fine to the deadline.

Nice to see you're all having a good time but if anyone needs to send me a message - please do so in game or via PM so I get an e-mail. With a little baby to look after, I don't have time to keep up with the thread.
